About

Marta
Kwiatkowska.

Sound therapy student and practitioner of the BAST Method, working with adults to support emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.

The BAST Method

I work with the BAST Method, a sound-based therapeutic approach developed over more than 25 years. The method is grounded in the 7Rs therapeutic model and aligns with the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). The BAST Academy is founded on research, analytical practice, and collaboration with organisations exploring the therapeutic applications of sound.

Instruments

In my professional practice, I use Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and crystal pyramids. In the upcoming academic year, I will further expand my expertise to include therapeutic work with gongs, voice, and tuning forks.

Twenty years of practice

For over 20 years I have been actively engaged in personal and professional development, drawing on a wide range of therapeutic modalities and complementary medicine approaches from around the world. In recent years, I have developed a strong interest in quantum physics, which I see as a meaningful bridge between a grounded, evidence-based perspective and a deeper understanding of spiritual principles. This integrative approach informs and supports my work with sound therapy and the 7Rs model.

Education & mental health

I am naturally solution-focused and place high value on seeing processes through to completion. My personal experience with the autism spectrum, and a strong emphasis on language development and mental health, led me to work within a Polish School in the United Kingdom. Managing the school was both demanding and highly formative - providing valuable insight into education systems, cognitive development, mental wellbeing, and the identification and support of individuals with autism, ADHD, depression, and other mental health challenges.

Volunteering & service

I have volunteered with charitable organisations including Circle Network and First Women's Aid, working in both individual and group settings - developing the ability to use available resources responsibly, ethically, and effectively.

Business background

Another significant part of my professional background comes from my studies in economics, administration, and law, as well as my work within health and safety departments, client services, and account management. Through these roles I developed strong skills in supporting clients, managing relationships, and understanding how to operate a business within legal, safety, and regulatory frameworks.

Supporting families

Supporting children is deeply important to me, as I believe that providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for parents is essential to breaking patterns transmitted across generations. For this reason, my primary focus is working with adults and supporting their emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. When parents and caregivers experience balance and fulfilment, these qualities naturally extend to future generations.

Ongoing development

My ongoing professional development is supported through certified training programmes, non-formal education, and the valuable feedback and reflections of the individuals I work with.
